BIOGRAPHY
Camino Sonoro Vintage Jazz Band comprises of Musicians from Spain, Italy and the UK who came together on the London Jazz scene through their love of timeless vintage swing and latin jazz.
Since forming in 2015, Camino Sonoro have performed at a great number of public and private events and festivals in some of the UK's most prestigious venues.
the band has evolved to be extremely versatile; able to offer a slick duo to a swinging five-piece band and extended line-up options to cater for both elegant background music and upbeat sets to get party guests on their dancing feet.
Their unique blend of alluring 1920's - 40's Swing, vintage latin songs and Bossa Nova coupled with jazzy arrangements of classic Pop Songs will transport you back to the golden age of Jazz.
Expect foot-stomping classics like 'Sing, Sing, Sing' & 'My Baby Just Cares For Me', exotic, cuban numbers like 'Dos Gardenias' and 'Quisaz, quisaz, quisaz', and classy arrangements of classic Pop like 'Careless Whisper' and 'I Will Survive'.

One sunny evening on a terrace overlooking the lovely grounds of Hanbury Manor, easy jazz notes flowed melodiously out of the conservatory - Camino Sonoro were in residence, creating an ambience which added so much warmth to the good company of friends with whom we celebrated our wedding anniversary. Our guests and family were charmed by Hetty's commanding vocals, Miguel's languid guitar and the mellow saxophone. 'Girl from Ipanema' brought smiles to many faces, 'My baby just cares for me' was delivered with casual confidence, and later on, many of us delighted in recognising Hetty's lovely rendition of 'I wanna be like you' - from The Jungle Book! It was a very special evening for us, and my family and I are thrilled that Camino Sonoro captured the mood perfectly with their unique style of swing and Latin jazz. The trio are truly relaxed, adaptable and versatile. I have no hesitation in commending Camino Sonoro to anyone seeking the perfect musical complement to their special occasion

We hired Homerton college for a dinner venue and were lucky to have Camino Sonoro perform for our clients. From the beginning they were very professional to deal with and performed beautiful sets ideal as a background jazz music. Our guests were complimenting the group and especially Heather's singing voice. We had an international group and some of our Spanish customers loved Spanish songs. Definitely recommend! 10/10

They played some gorgeous Latin American jazz, interspersed with swing classics, and the sound was perfect for a laid-back summer afternoon. Ronan's smooth saxophone is an excellent foil for Hetty’s flexible but beautifully expressive vocals. Miguel holds it all together, unobtrusively and elegantly, on guitar.
